Legacy Scholarship Program
Since the Legacy Scholarship Program’s inception in 1986, it has awarded more than 3,200 scholarships, totaling over $7 million. The Legacy Scholarship Program was created to give former patients of Scottish Rite for Children the opportunity to further their education and training beyond high school. The program provides financial assistance and a support network for former patients who wish to attend a college of their choice or a technical school to receive career training. Our scholarship recipients have overcome obstacles in their lives and continue to excel in spite of what others might consider to be significant challenges. The scholarships and support network help strengthen former patients’ confidence, fulfill their educational goals and set them on the road to future independence.
Overall, the Legacy Scholarship Program extends Scottish Rite for Children’s investment in its patients by giving them the tools they need to excel in today’s society. The program is dedicated to building on its legacy of care and commitment by helping former patients pursue the educational opportunities of their choice so they may reach their potential and realize their dreams. -
